The following was written shortly after picking up my latest addition to my typewriter collection (and current occupant of my writing desk), a 1961 Olympia SM4. The woman I purchased this machine from actually came to the Type-In the following day to check out the local typewriter community, which was such a lovely surprise. I'll have photos, scans, and a full report from this past Sunday's Typewriter Harvest as soon as I can get the film developed! Stay tuned and keep typing.
Yep, you got a really nice one there. It was fun that the previous owner came to the Type-In to check out the machine's new life among the weirdos.. :D
